Macaulay Culkin Joins Fiancée Brenda Song at TIFF Premiere of Her New Film *The Last Showgirl

The couple was all smiles as they walked the red carpet together at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto on Friday, Sept. 6.

Brenda Song didn't attend the premiere of her latest film *The Last Showgirl* alone — she brought along her fiancé, Macaulay Culkin! On Friday, Sept. 6, the 36-year-old actress celebrated the film’s debut at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, with the couple coordinating in stylish black outfits.

At the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, Song, who stars in Gia Coppola's film alongside Pamela Anderson, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Dave Bautista, posed for photos with Culkin, 44. Song dazzled in a black, crystal-detailed, spaghetti-strap gown, while Culkin matched her in a black suit, glasses, and a partly unbuttoned shirt. They were seen sharing affectionate moments on the red carpet, with Culkin wrapping his arm around Song’s waist.

Later, Song swapped her gown for a black suit with metallic detailing for the afterparty, where they were joined by Curtis, 65, for more photos.

The couple, who have been together since 2017, share two children — Dakota Song Culkin, 2, and a son born in December 2022. Speaking to Etalk at the premiere, Song expressed gratitude for the support from Culkin and her family. “I’m just so lucky to have wonderful support from my partner, from my family. I couldn’t do anything without them.”

*The Last Showgirl*, written by Kate Gersten, centers on Shelley (played by Anderson), a Las Vegas showgirl for 30 years. This film marks Song’s first movie since 2022’s *Love Accidentally* and her latest screen role since voice work in Netflix’s *Blue Eye Samurai* in 2023.

Song and Culkin have always supported each other’s careers, with Song attending Culkin’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in December 2023. During his speech, Culkin praised Song as “the best person I’ve ever known” and the person most excited for his achievement.
